Situated in Majidun, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Holy Family Happy Family Ministry is deeply rooted in its divine background. Prophet Ernest Chukwuemeka Nwankwo, the spiritual leader and General Overseer, experienced a profound spiritual awakening during a life-in-the-spirit seminar organized by the Upper Room Charismatic group of St. Dominic Catholic Church, Yaba-Lagos. His journey, marked by humble beginnings, has become a testament to the transformative power of spirituality.
The ministry's commitment to spreading the gospel, providing healing, and guiding lost souls is a reflection of its spiritual background. Prophet Ernest's frequent visits to the Blessed Sacrament and his obedience to divine instructions, especially in praying for the sick, laid the foundation for what is now known as Holy Family Happy Family Ministry.

The origin of Holy Family Happy Family Ministry is a tale of divine orchestration. The Holy Spirit's instructions in July 1997 set the stage for the ministry's emergence, answering a celestial call to address the multifaceted needs of humanity. Prophet Ernest Chukwuemeka Nwankwo, guided by divine messages, played a pivotal role in the ministry's inception.
Starting from a residential apartment at no. 3, Tijani Adeyinka Street, Ikorodu, the ministry's growth has been remarkable. The acquisition of the new site along Ikorodu road and the establishment of various branches, including Lagos, Nkwelle-Ezunaka, Abuja, Enugu, Port Harcourt, and Ijebu Ode, are testaments to its divine origin. The ministry's dedication is further demonstrated through vigils, special programs, and an annual 8-day event, emphasizing its heavenly focus. The rehabilitation center, Happy Family Homes Foundation Int’l, stands as a beacon of hope for those healed through prayers without medication. To God be the glory for the journey from humble origins to a spiritually impactful ministry.
